Our Sympathy |
January 15, 2012 |
I was unable to attend today's visitation. Although today's family problem at our home pales in comparison to the loss of Dorothy, it was something that required my immediate attention. Please know that Dorothy, and John as well were held in the highest regard by the Reed family. My absence today in no way reflects the respect that I have for the Bruntjen family. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

I am sorry for your loss of your mother. I lost mom last March. She was 91. I never realized how close in age our moms were. Your mom lived a good life and was a nice person. I know that no matter how prepared you are, it is not easy to loose a loved one. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Carol and Gretchen,
We were saddened to read of your Mother's death but know you are comforted by her wonderful faith story.
And what a wonderful family to support you all. Thinking of you during this time of parting.
Love and prayers, Willa and Bill

My highest respect and deepest sympathies for this wonderful lady. It was a great honor to be involved in her care for a year and a half. She was without question one of a kind. Condolences to Carol and the rest of the family.

Dorothy used to come into the bank where I used to work. She always had a smile on her face and was such a pleasure to talk to. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family, although they know she is at peace now & smiling down on us from Heaven. She lived a long life, making many memories for her family to enjoy. She will be missed so much as she was the foundation of her family.

In Honor of Dorothy Bruntjen |
January 13, 2012 |
I remember the Bruntjen family when we were all young. My parents, Bob and Helen Winters, visited back and forth with the Bruntjens when the kids were all in grade school...and more children came as the years passed. I remember especially Gail and Rise--calm, quiet, lovely--and Mrs. Bruntjen as a beautiful woman married to a handsome man.
Condolences to the family and friends, who will miss her warmth and love. She added beauty to my life.

Our Deepest Sympathy |

How blessed we were to have known Dorothy. A lady who lived her faith by example. She will be truly missed by her own family and church family that loved her. I am so thankful Linda Blakeman and I went to see her before Christmas. Knowing she had worried about making a decison on whether to go to assistant living or have someone live with her, God helped her! We know how much she loved sitting infront of her big window.
With us in Naples, Florida, we will be missing Dorothy's service. We send our "Deepest Sympathy" to the whole family which meant the world to her. She was a beautiful lady inside and out!!!
